What are we doing RIGHT NOW?
We are in the process of creating a resource directory. This is a physical binder of all resources currently available in Ash Grove Everton and Walnut Grove, as well as resources from Greene county and Dade county.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
We are in need of resource detectives to help us identify and gather information on these resources. To join our team of researchers, you can click the link below to obtain a downloadable printer friendly form that can be filled out with information about resources you have found. Forms may then be mailed, texted, or returned in person back to us.
WHAT PLANS DO WE HAVE FOR THE FUTURE?
As we gather information, we will be printing resource sheets specific to each of our villages of Ash Grove Everton and Walnut Grove, as well as more general information cards for green and Dade county. For this, we will need reams of paper, printer, ink and volunteers to help organize our paperwork. 2. We are currently seeking a physical space to meet residences of our villages where we can help direct them to the resources that they need. We are actively looking for a donated travel trailer or office trailer that we can use for this purpose as well as funding to help us obtain an actual building in the future. Some of our other long-term goals as funding provides includes a monthly village day where there will be a planned activity, a meal served, and resources to give away to help our village communities bond together, while providing needed services. Help the existing resources we've identified to grow to reach more needs and more residents, create and maintain a lending library of heaters, air conditioners, and generators, and ultimately to obtain or build a community/youth center in the town of Ash Grove that will serve as a central hub for our villages.
As we grow, so will our vision, our dreams and our needs. But the one thing we will always need is YOU!
