We are a dedicated 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization located in the rural community of Ash Grove Missouri about 30 miles North of the larger city of Springfield MO.
We believe that through unity and collaboration we can build a better world where our communities needs are met locally. whether it is food, clothing, or the need to belong and be seen, we can meet these needs right here at home. We are local and everything stays local. No one should be in need when they have neighbors.
We serve the rural, underserved communities of Ash Grove, Walnut Grove, and Everton in Missouri. These small towns have significantly less median household incomes than the rest of the state, with the state average being over 60,000, Everton and Walnut Groves average is in the low 30,000s almost half of the state average. These towns hold a significant amount of grandparents raising their grandchildren, Walnut Grove as high as 68%, and have an incredibly high poverty rate, with Everton hovering over 18% with 1 in 5 residents living below the poverty line.
By working together with other resources already in the area, we can directly target these discrepancies and bring much needed hope to these small towns and a brighter future for generations to come.
Meet Our Team
Our board is comprised of father's, grandmother's, and small business owners that live and work within the communities they serve.
Synergy of Hope is governed by our responsible and engaged Board of Directors. This Board sets budgets, establishes policies, and oversees all operations. We believe in complete openness and transparency in all our financial doings and are committed to use every resource entrusted to us to its fullest potential. Synergy of Hope operates under the following EIN: 41-3934534 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
For the fiscal year 2026, Synergy of Hope was born. All startup costs including filing fees, website building, and marketing materials were 100% covered by donations from its Board members. For the remainer of this year we have an extra 300.00 that was also donated by Board members to cover the initial costs of creating our resource directory. Beyond that we will be actively raising funds to begin stocking our Lending Library and save up for our first Village day. No portion of donations will go towards administrative costs as our Board of Directors does not take any salary. 100 percent of donations will be used to further the Framework of Hope and our mission of a brighter future.
